Jon is a physical therapist who co-founded Next Degree, an AI-powered job search platform for clinicians. Next Degree helps clinicians discover and match with healthcare and tech companies that would be a good fit for them based on their background and interests.
Jon's passion is helping clinicians find fulfilling healthcare jobs after his personal journey through healthtech, medtech, pharma, and startups. Next Degree’s goal is to eliminate the hassles of the job search: endless scrolling, ghosting, and the frustration clinicians experience along the way.
Jon is an advisor at the TechStars accelerator and VC firm VentureBlick, holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, a DPT from Virginia Commonwealth University, and completed his residency and fellowship training in Houston, TX.

Born to Korean parents and raised in Panama, Alex had a truly multicultural upbringing. He studied History and Economics at UPenn before obtaining his DDS at UCLA. Alex practiced as a pediatric dentist for 7 years before making the switch to product management.
Bringing a blend of clinical experience, technical understanding, and a user-centered approach to product development, he's fascinated with finding innovative solutions to old problems.
Co-Founder of "Happy Teeth, Happy Feet", a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to grassroots efforts in supporting the unhoused and other vulnerable communities in the Greater Los Angeles area.
