Our Guest: Lauren Sheehan OT, OTD

Lauren is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy who’s spent the last five plus years in the medical device and digital health industries. 

Currently, she is the Director of Clinical Services for Kandu Health. Her other active roles include serving as the co-chair of the Technology Networking Group of the American Congress of Rehab Medicine and as a member of the Advisory Board for a developing Occupational Therapy Doctoral program at Keck Graduate Institute. 

Lauren is also the co-founder of the Rehab Tech Summit, an online conference and community that aims to bring together industry professionals including  rehabilitation clinicians, researchers and entrepreneurs to share information and ideas in the rehabilitation technology space. If that wasn’t enough, Lauren is also the original co-founder of the group we now know as the Clinician Transition

In this episode she talks about her support system, the importance of community and leads a valuable Show & Tell on the do’s and don’ts of informational interviewing and outreach.
